This website is operated by AcumenX LLC (“AcumenX,” “we,” “us”), a privately held professional services firm serving clients nationwide. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with. It applies to this website only, not to information you give us in the course of an engagement, which is governed by your engagement agreement.

Information you give us

The Contact form collects your name, email address, and the message you write. The Careers form collects your name, email address, your statement of interest, and a resume if you choose to upload one. Nothing on this site requires an account, and we do not collect payment information.

The Ask AcumenX assistant collects the questions you type into it. Do not enter confidential, privileged, or sensitive personal information into the assistant. It is an informational tool that answers from this site’s published content, and it is not a secure channel.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server log data, including IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We also use your IP address briefly, in memory, to rate limit form submissions and assistant messages so the site cannot be flooded by automated traffic.

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not currently run analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so simply reading a page does not send your browser to a third party.

How we use it

Information from the Contact form is used to respond to your inquiry. Information from the Careers form is used to evaluate your interest in joining the firm. Assistant messages are used to generate a response to your question. Log and rate limiting data are used to keep the site available and to prevent abuse. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use what you submit here for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that operate this site, and only so they can perform that service for us:

• Vercel, which hosts the website and processes server log data.
• Resend, which delivers form submissions to our inbox as email, including any resume you attach.
• Anthropic, which processes the messages you send to the Ask AcumenX assistant in order to generate a reply.

We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our people, or the security of this site.

How long we keep it

Form submissions arrive as email and are retained in our business records for as long as needed to respond to you and to meet our legal and professional obligations. Rate limiting data lives only in short-lived server memory and is never written to a database. We do not maintain a database of website visitors.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS and submissions are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send confidential or privileged material through this website.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you from this website, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@acumen-x.com and we will respond. We may need to keep certain records where the law or our professional obligations require it.

Children

This website is intended for business use by adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
